	What you get: Included with all panels is an EL inverter that takes either two aa batteries or three aaa batteries depending on the model and functions. This plugs directly into the animated panel and lets you turn on and off the display and also choose from a range of different patterns and sequences. A belt clip and led indicator are included for your convenience. Batteries are not currently included. Our electroluminescence panels are attached to any apparel item of your choice via a hook and loop system, there is an entry point made into the inside of the item for the flat cable. The electro-luminescent panel and inverter must carefully be removed before hand washing the garment. Although all our apparel is top quality and the el panels well wearing we cannot be held responsible for damaged EL panels, inverters or clothing so its important you take care with the items and read any included documentation.



	For those of your technically inclined: Electroluminescence is the result of radiative recombination of electrons and holes in a material (usually a semiconductor). The excited electrons release their energy as photons - light. Prior to recombination, electrons and holes are separated either as a result of doping of the material to form a p-n junction (in semiconductor electroluminescent devices such as LEDs), or through excitation by impact of high-energy electrons accelerated by a strong electric field (as with the phosphors in electro luminescent displays).
